Another Gallery Shot Found

Today, there wasn’t much of anything to photograph.  The sky was boring and very dark.  I decided to review some old photos in hopes of finding one with a lot of potential.  I found this one from August and I brought out it’s full potential.  This was taken in August at Hoosier Pass and it’s of the 14er, Mt. Lincoln.  It is a 3-exposure HDR, and converting it to HDR really brought out the contrast in the image.

Mt. Princeton and the Collegiate Peaks After the Storm

This one is the shot of the day!  The clouds were just beginning to clear as we headed down into Buena Vista.  The name of this town never disappoints when you see this view (Buena Vista means “Good View”)!  There’s not much more I can say; the photo tells all!

Mt. Princeton at Sunset

On our way back from Sangre de Cristo, we drove by the Collegiate Peaks as the sun was setting.  Mt. Princeton is the center mountain of these three massive peaks which are all 14ers.  Once again, the odds were against me as we were driving at dusk, but I was able to grab this shot at f/5, an exposure setting at -1.33, and an ISO of 640 and achieve a shutter speed of 1/500 which worked out really well!
